On March 5, 2008, the Center for an Urban Future and the Brooklyn Economic Development Corporation held a forum examining the size and scope of the self-employed creative sector in Brooklyn, discussed the unique challenges and obstacles facing self-employed creative professionals and explored public and private sector strategies for supporting this part of the borough’s economy.
